Manga Artist and Manga Books!

Submitted by Wednesday on Tue, 08/25/2009 - 3:52pm.

Hey, Folks! I've read a lot of really great books, most of them being chapter books, but my favorite type of book is Manga! Manga is basically a Graphic Novel except its written by Japanese people or illustrated with a special Japanese style. They are super fun to read and the illustrations are very detailed and very cute! I would like to share some really great Japanese Manga book titles and authors!

~*Authors/Artist*~

 CLAMP:

CLAMP is not one artist, but four girl artists! They make a HUGE variety of Manga, all of which are very fun to read and are very beautifully drawn. One of CLAMP's most popular series (that also became a T.V. show) is Tsubasa. there are a few other books that are related and are branches off Tsubasa also by CLAMP such as Holic and Chobits. Makes sure to check out these Manga's and find out for your self how great they really are! Five Star Material!

Rumiko Takahashi:

Rumiko is a very famous author in both America and Japan. Most of her Books have been made into shows. she has written a lot of series, most popularly Inu Yasha. Inu Yasha in the only thing I've actually read by her and my personal opinion on this book is that its fun to read and its simple to follow. Some more books she's written are Ranma 1/2, Ikkoku, Rinne, and more. Four and a Half Star Material!

Natsuki Takaya:

Oh, my! Natsuki is one of my favorite artist in the world! Her illustrations are AMAZING and she writes beautifully! the only book i have actually read my her is Fruits Basket, which is her most popular series. Fruits basket has a wonderful and touching story line and has magnificent drawings. She is by far, the best Manga writer i have ever come across! Natsuki has also written two other series called Phantom Dream and also a series called Tsubasa: those with wings. Be sure to check out her books or order them online!
