Wednesday's Vampire Book Alternatives!
Submitted by Wednesday on Mon, 08/24/2009 - 10:21am.
As most of the community knows, the most popular book series of the year is the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyers. The book has its pro's; i mean, when you first start the book and you kind of get into it after about 150 pages of talking exclusively about how attractive Edward is. Yes, you wonder what will happen next. Yes, you start to get attached to the characters in the book. But, what's really good about the book? Think about it. Can you think of any other reasons why you like the book? Well, if you can, GREAT! Personally, I've ran out of ideas.
So, instead of searching for reasons inside you brain to like Twilight, why don't I give you some Vampire Alternatives!
~Blue Bloods~
*By Melissa De La Cruz*
I would have to say that even though this book is sometimes hard to follw, it's a great story full of vampire excitement. The book is caked with confusing relationships and feeling and A LOT of vampire history. This book is only the first of the series, so read all three to keep in touch with the vampire madness! Five Star Rating!

~Vampire Kisses~

I havn't read the Vampire Kisses chapter books but I have read some of the Manga, and I do love the illustrations. The story is cute, and I love the charaters-- but the story can be bland. Four Star Rating.
